    EU climate policy

    Following undelivered promises at the EU's December 2008 and March 2009 summits, EU finance ministers have again failed to agree on the EU commitment to climate financing for developing countries at their Council meeting in Luxembourg. EU leaders must now deliver at their 20-21 October summit.

    Lisbon Treaty

    The Greens have wholeheartedly welcomed the convincing yes vote (67.1%) from Ireland on the Lisbon Treaty. We call on the Czech President to end his blocking tactics so that the final stages of ratification can be closed.
