    Nicolae Ștefănuță MEP elected as Vice President of the Greens/EFA Group

    Tonight, the Greens/EFA elected Nicolae Ștefănuță MEP as Vice-President of the Group. Nicolae Ștefănuță succeeds Ernest Urtasun, who was recently appointed Minister for Culture in the new Spanish Government.

    Greens/EFA welcome stricter animal transport regulations

    The European Commission published the revision of the Animal Transport Regulation. The Greens/EFA has long pushed for this, and welcome the Commission revision. However, the proposed measures are not enough. It’s long overdue to significantly raise EU standards for animal transports.
