Parental leave

A majority of MEPs in the European Parliament committee for women's rights and gender equality have voted in favour of a legislative report that sets a minimum threshold of fully paid maternity leave of 20 weeks, with additional paternity leave (also at full pay) of at least 2 weeks.

Beyond Copenhagen

Implementing the Green New Deal for Europe

The Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament is holding a series of workshops with Greens from around the EU to discuss and fine-tune its policies on the Green New Deal. This workshop will consider key aspects of the Green New Deal, such as its macro-economic framework, its employment dimension and its industrial policies.
