Final report on Hungary shows damning picture on rule of law & EU’s response

EU expected to ban products made with forced labour

Members of the European Parliament will debate the “Regulation on Prohibiting products made with forced labour on the EU market”. The plenary vote will take place tomorrow. MEPs call for EU to recognise abortion as fundamental right

Members of the European Parliament adopted a resolution calling for abortion to be included in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. The report also denounces that some Member States still have highly restrictive laws prohibiting abortion except in strictly defined circumstances.
