    Greens/EFA Group call for safe and legal pathways to save lives

    MEPs will debate on the need for a speedy adoption of the Asylum and Migration Package. The Greens/EFA Group welcome the upcoming negotiations on the pact as an opportunity to fight for a more humane EU migration policy based on solidarity, access to asylum, fair relocation between Member States, and respect for fundamental rights.

    Parliament to vote on MFF revision - Quote from Rasmus Andresen

    Today, MEPs will vote on the Parliament's position on the revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), the EU’s seven year budget. The Greens/EFA Group support the Commission proposal revision of the MFF to account for funding for Ukraine and greater flexibility in Next Generation EU debt payments as a package.

    New study shows small wealth tax could increase tax revenues across EU by nearly quarter of a trillion euros

    Today, the Greens/EFA Group are publishing a new report highlighting the amounts of tax revenue that European countries could garner through a small tax on the wealthiest 0.5%. The study finds that even a tax of 1.7-3.5% could bring in as much as €213.3 billion to national coffers.
