Facing the dragon

Will China hold the keys of the green economy?

SEE THE DOCUMENTATION OF THE EVENT

To which extent can China and the EU be partners and/or competitors on the future of industry? Does China have the capacity to outgrow Europe’s blooming Green industry? Do we have to be afraid of that? Or does a cooperative approach work better than a zero-sum-game perspective? China does face huge challenges in reaching its goals - the EU is beginning a continental industrial policy. What could be priorities for cooperation and what should be the problems between both sides to be tackled with particular attention? It's time for Europe to get its act together 08:30 Registration at the ASP Building entrance 09:00 -10.00 Panel I: THE FACTS, chaired by Reinhard Bütikofer MEP
