Suspended account

In January 2018, pro-choice organisation Women on Waves received a message stating it has violated YouTube’s “community guidelines” and therefore its account has been taken down. The account of Women on Web, Women on Waves’ sister organisation, was suspended too. No specifics were offered, but they were no longer able to access their account or the content on it. After a public complaint and press release, the account was re-instated. However in April 2018, the account was taken down again. The same happened a third time in June 2018.
