Demonstration on working time directive

On the eve of the vote of the Cercas report on the organisation of working time, Greens/EFA Members and staff took part actively in the Euro-demonstration for "Priority to workers' rights, not longer working hours" organised in Strasbourg on 16 December 2008.

This demonstration was organised by the European Trade Unions and more that 10.000 participants attended, especially from France, Germany, Spain and the Benelux. It turned out to be a massive success and the results of the vote are definitely in favour of workers' health and safety.
