Greens/EFA MEP Heidi Hautala re-elected as Vice President and Marcel Kolaja elected as Quaestor

Yesterday, the European Parliament re-elected Heidi Hautala MEP, as Vice President of the European Parliament. Today, the European Parliament elected Marcel Kolaja, Pirate Party MEP and Greens/EFA member, as Quaestor.

Heidi Hautala has been an MEP between 1995 to 2003, and 2009 to 2011, and continuously from 2014. She was first elected as Vice-President of the European Parliament in 2017. Heidi has been a Member of the Finnish Parliament between 1991 to 1995 and 2003 to 2009. She was also a Minister for Development and Ownership Steering from 2011 to 2013. She has a masters degree in agriculture and forestry from the University of Helsinki.
Marcel Kolaja has been a member of the Czech Pirate Party since 2010, from 2022 he is a vice-president of the party. In 2019, he was elected a Member of the European Parliament and subsequently became Vice-President of the European Parliament for the first term. He graduated from the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno.
