Greens4Animals Conference
On Thursday 12 October, nine Greens-EFA MEPs (Caroline Roose, Tilly Metz, Ska Keller, Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg, Pär Holmgren, Francisco Guerreiro, Thomas Waitz, Manuela Ripa & David Cormand) are organising the Greens4animals conference.
This event will bring together local and European elected representatives, green and animalist activists to debate the issues surrounding farm animal welfare legislation and to discuss on actions for all animals implemented from local to global level. This is a great opportunity to learn more on the challenges surrounding the revision of animal welfare legislation and to meet pro-animals activists from across Europe.
There will be plenty on the table, as the European Commission has pledged to publish a proposal for the reform of European rules on the protection of farm animals this autumn.
The event will take place in the European Parliament (Joseph Antall building, room 6Q2).
